HIKING INTO HELLS CANYON - THERE IS PLENTY OF SAGEBRUSH IN HELLS CANYON (AND RATTLESNAKES)

As a lad I hiked into Hells Canyon to Grampa Asa "Ace" Duncan's cabin three times - the first two by way of Kirkwood Creek with my Dad and Brother Jim and the other by coming down Sheep Creek with my Dad and my half-coyote dog, Rex. We ran into a lot of rattlesnakes on that last trip.
