I started out using PowerPoint to make my shows but was never happy with PowerPoint because you cannot
run DVDs of the shows nor post them to a true streaming website.
I also experimented with some other slideshow programs such as MovieMaker or PhotoStory but found them
all wanting.
Then I decided to concentrate on using Photodex's Pro Show Gold - a program that is a bit more work but
has lots of nice features such as pan and zoom. Photodex also provides a true streaming website where
one can upload high resolution shows and link to them from one's own website. I am still at work
converting my older PowerPoint slideshows to the Pro Show Gold format so I am not finished with
Buck, Ptarmigan or Redoubt. My apologies.
